As a mom of two men now, I am glad I can look back and know we enjoyed being together. I was a single mom (divorced) and was able to homeschool my boys and have a daycare in my home. I would have liked to not have to work but at least it was in my home. Every moment and every memory you share with your family and children will never be in vain. Enjoy!! Make memories!! Scrap those memories for you and your children.

We read them *to* them at bedtime when they were 3-4 and now my 6 year old is reading them again, *to* his sisters. Love, love, love these books and the many questions about the world that come from reading them. A to Z Mysteries books are also good by Ron Roy. His calendar series is not as great and the Capital Mysteries probably only appealed to us because we live close enough to actually visit the DC sites he talks about, but the alphabet ones are solid. Young Cam Jansen is another series that is age appropriate content but simple enough that my son (going into 1st grade in the fall) can read them himself.
